The last-wicket pair of Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle put on 47 in quick time, taking the game into the final over. But it was a step too far for the duo. Mark Wood and Adil Rashid were the ones who engineered the New Zealand collapse after Guptill got them off to a quickfire start. With the bat it was all about Jos Buttler for England, scoring an entertaining 73 off 51, while Bairstow and Billings chipped in towards the end to get a competitive score.
