ENG vs WI 1st Test Day 2 Highlights – 24 January 2019

With a wicket falling in the last over of the day, the umpires have decided to call stumps. Shimron Hetmyer remains unbeaten on 56 while witnessing a dramatic collapse. Four wickets fell in the last 40 deliveries of the day.

The collapse just doesn’t seem to end. Kemar Roach pokes at a delivery outside off and gives Sam Curran an easy catch. Roach can’t believe it. Windies have lost their eighth wicket.

West Indies Won the Toss and Choose to Bat First

After a riveting day of Test cricket, the match hangs in balance. Before England took the second new ball, Windies were in a strong position but in the last 10 overs of the day, it was a completely different story. They were sitting pretty at 240/4 after 80 overs but a certain Anderson came to party with the new cherry. His love story with the Dukes, wish it never gets over. It’s an absolute delight to watch. Not to forget the contribution by Stokes who started it all after he took those two important wickets before the rain arrived. Talking about Windies, it was a collective effort from their batsmen.
