The leggie should have had a hat-trick too, if not for Karun’s dropped catch at slip. A fine all-round performance from the Royals who rode on Buttler’s fab century to post a competitive total. Royals the only team to win by batting first this season. They’re certainly bucking the general trend, aren’t they?
