Well, if you on this article and trying to analyze the game between New Zealand Vs Bangladesh 3rd ODI, Feb 20, 2019, let us explain you in some straight forward words. Yes, Sabbir Rahman scored his amazing ODI hundred at 102 balls with 12 Fours and 2 Sixes. None of ther other team player supported him except Mehidy Hasan he scored 37 in 34 balls, but it all looked like a personal milestone rather than showing intent to win. Bangladesh gave up the chase midway into the innings when they lost their 5th wicket – Mahmudullah at 61, inside 15 overs. Nevertheless, they will be really proud of themselves for there has been a decent improvement with the ball and Sabbir’s innings, of course.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field.

Mashrafe Mortaza said: “The boys are disappointed, but Sabbir got hundred and that’s a positive. We didn’t take wickets during crucial times and after that Neesham’s knock changed the momentum”

Tom Latham winning captain Said: “We managed a few partnerships in the middle and we had a bit of fun towards the end. We got a good squad of players and to see Tim come back and bowl at a good pace and swing the ball was very refreshing. We are doing alright in all departments and the challenge for us is to keep getting better each time the bowlers take wickets upfront and the challenge for us also through the middle periods where we want to take wickets. We are always trying to learn and this series is no different”

The trophy has been presented to Latham as his mates rally around to pose for the photographs. A loud yell of ‘yay’ rings around as they wrap up the celebrations. That’s all from us for the New Zealand – Bangladesh ODI series. A three-match Test series awaits both these sides now; the first ones starting on 28 February in Hamilton. Do remember to tune in for that. A huge thanks for your company fellas. Until next time, this is Raju Peethala wishing Sayonara on behalf of Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Nikhil Jadhav and scoring whizz Harish Vootakuru.
